Danish design company Diffus has come up with an LED-equipped Climate Dress that responds to the concentration of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere by glowing accordingly.the dress is laced with hundreds of tiny LEDs that respond to carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. Powered by an Arduino Lilypad microprocessor and a carbon dioxide detector, the haute-tech frock uses conductive embroidery to transmit information to the hand-stitched lights, resulting in patterns that range from slow pulses to rapid flashes depending on the concentration of the greenhouse gas. This incredibly designed  dress will react to the air quality and pollution levels by pulsating hundreds of LED lights. While this concept may not be practical enough for mass production, we feel that environmentally conscious fashion like this is certainly progress in the right direction for the creative world.

French designer JC de Castelbajac has taken Lego to the high fashion catwalk again, however this time his references are as varied as African tribal accessories, holidaying in the south of France and iconic 80’s designer, Moschino’s spliced pocket jacket. He introduces Lego’s to the high fashion world with these Lego inspired New Era fitted hats. The fitted hat features a 80’s inspired color-scheme, and a mohawk all composed from Lego’s. The idea and creativity of the pieces are very impressive. JC de Castelbajac has taken the classic Casio watch shape and used the iconic Lego primary colours and connectable circular shapes to offer a unique version for today’s audience.

A Chinese bride has attempted to break the world record for the longest wedding dress by walking down the aisle in a 2,162m-long (7,083ft) gown. Lin Rong’s dress was made for her by her husband-to-be, Zhao Peng, and his family in eastern Jilin province. It took their 200 wedding guests three hours to unroll the fabric and decorate the train with 9,999 silk roses. The groom, Zhao Peng, said he was actually inspired by the world’s record of the longest wedding dress made in Romania in April when he planned his wedding.

Annual exhibition of chocolate “Salon Du Chocolate Paris 2009″ was held in October 2009, On which confectioners from all over the world competing in skill. The chocolate show has an operatic theme and includes a charity fashion show.This was the 15th exhibition which is held annually to support charity organization Voices for Children. According to chocolate makers, global financial crisis boosted their sales. Experts say people tend to eat their stress away. The event was shown real chocolate fashion-show – at the podium came models in outfits made of chocolate. And from it were made not only dresses but also hats, beads and other accessories. Outfit from “sweet” collection, which nearly melted under the spotlights, using a model, actress and opera singer.
